No new titles have been added in
April.
Much work has taken place to merge the anbrico.org
website into the main anbrico.com site.
It is worth visiting the site on a regular basis as we
now include short video clips and special discount
offers.
Video footage also features on YouTube and Flickr.
Today film of an East Coast HST with one power car and a
visit to the Workington Shuttle have been added.
Photographs feature on Railway Herald, Photobox and
Flickr.
Just search for Felixjaz!
Hopefully next month we will be visiting the Lymington
Branch to say goodbye to the slam-door EMU. Maybe you
will be joining me?
Enjoy the good weather while it lasts!

We are looking at producing more
single location DVDs after the
interest shown in "This is
Preston" released earlier this
month so look out for Glasgow
Central and Leeds arriving
sometime soon!
This looks like being a good
year for Preserved Railway
Modern Traction events so get
out there and enjoy yourself, we
are, and filming some!
Sun May 3, 2009 5:57 pm
A new DVD is
now available from Anbrico
Felixjaz.
"This is Preston"
contains footage from 1987 to
2009 and runs for 64 minutes.
Section 1: 1987 (February)
Section 2: 1987 (FebMay)
Section 3: 1988 (July)
Section 4: 1989 (Sept-Oct)
Section 5: 1993 (July-Aug)
Section 6: 2004-2007-2009
Includes Classes: Locomotives:
25, 31, 47, 66, 67, 85, 86, 87,
90, 92. DMUs: 101, 104,
108, 142, 150, 153, 155, 156,
158, 175, 180 & 185. Also
HST, 221 & 390.
This title was requested by
www.prestonstation.org.uk/ who
say:
"The
80s are back... And they're
DREADFUL! ... (and so are the
90s). It's like the 80s
never went away - Preston the
way it used to be, with 87s,
86s, 85s, 47 galore and even a
pair of 25s in their final days.
For the DMU fans, 104s and 108s
are in plentiful supply, as are
101s and some almost new 142s.
As we move into the 90s, we see
the move to Intercity livery,
with class 31s on Regional
Railways services and much more.
The DVD is rounded off with a
short selection of footage from
the new millennium, bringing us
right up-to date. This is
an essential nostalgia trip for
all of us who had an interest in
Preston Station, and railways in
general over the last three
decades."
Hope you will find this new
title of interest, but be aware
that you may already have some
of the footage in other Anbrico
DVDs!
Enjoy the good weather!

holding

The
Anbrico Felixjaz eBay shop is now back on line and to
celebrate that fact we are offering THREE DVDs for the
cost of TWO for ONE week only. All you need to do is
order TWO £10.00 DVDs (adding £1.00 postage) through
eBay as normal then in the notes section request the
third FREE. Twin Packs are excluded from this offer, but
the Class 31 Finale Box set counts as two!
This £21.00 for three DVDs only lasts until the end of
December 2007.
All at Anbrico-Felixjaz want to wish everyone a Happy
Christmas and a great New Year.
Many more titles are planned for 2008. Watch out for the
Southern slam-door series.

Yesterday eBay
decided to close down Anbrico Felixjaz.
Even after an exchange of -mails I am unsure why this
is and what's more worrying is that eBay appear to be
able to justify why. Since it's their organisation they
can do as they want. The problem for Anbrico Felixjaz is
that a couple of years ago we decided to do all our
sales via eBay. In the previous 25 years Anbrico would
sell films via cheque to our Pudsey address but times
have changed and eBay appeared to be the way forward.
Lots of new titles are in production with a Eurostar
title just being completed this week and many Slam-Door
titles due out in the New Year.
How we then sell the new DVDs is a problem but we're
working on that. Thank you for your custom and positive
feedback, which is what has kept us producing new
titles.
Happy Holidays to everyone.

Scale Models:
October gave us the chance to photograph a large
collection of Anbrico models. Many hundred photographs
were taken.
With a new collection of images now available it was
decided to split the website and create a totally new
site for Anbrico Scale Models at www.anbrico.org. It is
hoped that the new site will go live in early January
2008.
DVD films: October saw the addition of a powerful
new computer, at Anbrico, which speeds up the process of
rendering films. Previously this process has taken many
hours, but has now been reduced to a fifth of that time.
Also the large storage of 2.5TB (2,500GB) will assist
with the big projects planned for the future. Last month
Anbrico teamed up with Hellfire-Haulage. This is the
first time we have edited non-Anbrico video film to be
sold under the Anbrico banner. Later this week "The
Class 31 Finale" will be released which will contain
over four hours of film split over three DVDs. If this
is well received more projects can be shared with
Hellfire-Haulage or anyone else out there who thinks
thay have interesting film!
Later this month it is hoped to re-issue AV125 since
Eurostar departure from Waterloo are now historic.
A new site www.anbrico.eu has been set up to feature
European Transport photographs. This will eventually
include stills from future European DVD titles. Have a
look.

We now have a Poll for the group created by Andy. Thanks
for that.
What we don't have, at the moment, is a large enough
membership.
Yesterday an invite was sent to all recent Anbrico eBay
visitors in a hope that we may get a few more people
join.
Andy also added a couple of links. Please feel to add
other interest group links. If you have interest in
these groups then maybe we could pass the word round
about the Anbrico Yahoo Group.
Please complete the Poll and also get others interested.
Just a note for those interested in Mainland Europe
titles, many of the original Anbrico videos will be
re-edited to DVD standard in the
new year. A Poll will be issued nearer the time.

Welcome to our recent new members.
Scale Models: More David Voice tram pictures have
been added to the
website since the last news mail. Following up a contact
down under
for another possible collection.
DVD Films: AV135: The Western Region Class 101-121
DMU review appears
in the October edition of Traction magazine (If you don't
want to buy
a copy just read the review on the Anbrico website).
AV302: The London, Tilbury & Southend Class 302-317 DVD
was released
yesterday on eBay. This title was originally issued in
1994 on VHS
tape then re-edited in 2000 but never released. In 2007 it
has been re-
edited again to include film taken in 2001 but does not
include the
class 357 stock.

Welcome to all Anbrico Yahoo group
members.
Scale Models: A number of new
model collections have been added to the website. Brian
Wild sent in pictures of his collection of early
hand-built Anbrico trams. Brian along with the other new
contacts actually came via an e-Bay tram listing. David
Voice produces tramway, books some of which include
details of Anbrico products.
Website: A new header has
also been added to the website reflecting the scale model
years.
DVD Films: Although a number
of new titles were planned for August the recent good
weather meant that getting out and adding to film-stock
would be far a better use of the sunshine. The following
locations have been visited by Anbrico over the last five
weeks.
Ellesmere Port Branch - This now
completes filming at all MerseyRail Electrics stations.
North Wales Coast - More class 57
stock footage has been added.
Lymington Branch - 421498 in service
running with the Lymington Flyer headboard.
London to Southend - More class 357
stock footage has been added.
Longcross (Sunningdale) - This now
completes filming at all former Southern 3rd rail
stations.
Most of the above film stock will
not be required in the short term but it does prompt other
titles.
