Filmed in the Interlaken area over two days of arrivals and eventual departures of various types of steam locomotives that had travelled from other areas of Switzerland, France and Germany.
The film starts with the build-up to the event with the locomotive formation at Interlaken West. We move then to Frutigen on the main BLS line to Brig to see the locomotives from various countries that run slowly past.
A look at the locomotives used on the journey and on display on this full day tour of Holland as we move around to the various locations for breaks in the journey and arranged visits.
